Y-Empowerment's Family Advocates are prepared to help Intimate Partner Violence (Domestic Violence) Survivors and Victims. We assist through education classes, training, support groups and assistance with paperwork.
Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
Darkness to Light, Stewards of Children Training for local providers who work with children, and training for parents and families. Our goal in this training is to arm parents, organizations, and anyone who is directly in contact with children, the proper information that is needed to protect children from sexual abuse.
Adult of Child Abuse Survivor Group
Adults need healing too. This support group focuses on Adults who have survived Child Abuse. It is a time to have an open dialogue to express your thoughts and feelings in an safe environment.

Youth Mentoring
Youth Mentoring: Providing mentoring and advocacy to youth affected by child abuse. Give them healthy emotional coping skills to manage their daily lives, while receiving information on healthy living and the knowledge of signs of abuse and how to properly address the situations in their homes, dating lives, and into their adulthood.
